August 15, 2019, Feast of the Assumption of Mary; Holy Day of Obligation. Masses at St. Peter-All Hallows Church: 8:00am, English. 5:30pm, English and 7:00pm, Spanish.
Parish Youth Group will be having a Car Wash next Saturday August 24th from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Come and support our Youth Group and their fundraising efforts to go to the ON FIRE NorCal Jam at Six Flags in September.
On Saturday, August 10, 2019, we celebrated a healing mass for our home-bound community. Father Jovito gave the Sacrament of Anointing to all present. It was a beautiful service.
Last week we were able to assist six neighborhood families with rent, two with utility bills, and one with food. In all, $1,400.00 that you contributed were directed to people in need. Thank you for your generosity and for making Christ and his Gospel visible in our neighborhood.
Last week we were able to assist five neighborhood families, two of whom needed food. So your contributions to our St. Vincent de Paul Society literally made tangible the hope in God’s kindness that we sang about in today’s responsorial Psalm. In all, $650.00 were used to help these families with rent, and utilities in addition to the food assistance. We were unable to help seven families and directed seven other families to helping agencies in their areas. Thank you for your continuing prayers and generous support. “See, the eyes of the Lord are upon those who. . .hope for his kindness.”
Save the date, our Parish Festival is Sunday, October 6th from 10:30am to 6:00pm. More information to come!!!

The project to install ADA accessible parking in the West Parking Lot is nearing completion. The tree stump has been removed (pic #2) and covered with asphalt. The parking lines will be painted in the next few days.

On Saturday July 27th, 2019 we will be hosting a Parish Potluck Picnic at Tahoe Park, all are welcome. Bring a dish to share and meet at the Gazebo in the North/East side of the park. We will be there from 12:00pm until 6:00pm. It was so much fun last year and a great community event.
Last Saturday, St. Peter-All Hallows’ Youth Group fed the poor at Cesar Chavez Plaza. Thank you to our youth and their parents who helped. Many blessings to you and those you served!🙏
Saint Vincent de Paul Update: Last week $1,003 of money you contributed to our St. Vincent de Paul Society were used to help the members of six neighborhood families in need to pay rent, utility and motel bills. Thank you for your concrete example of generosity and hospitality.
Thanks to Lao Moua and the Hmong community for weeding our flower beds around the church.
We will be having another Parish Picnic on July 27th from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at Tahoe Park under the Gazebo. It was so much fun last year and a great community event.
